Obama Policies Endanger US Allies

Earlier this week, a think-tank in the UK declared that US power is fading. I disagree — it’s not fading because others are rising, it’s fading because of President Obama’s appeasement policies.

In a matter of days, Obama is single-handedly undoing what took the US decades to build, namely the trust of Eastern Europe and the caution of Russia.  If it wasn’t for US promises of security against mainly Russia, Putin and the ex-Soviets would have likely exerted their massive power/influence over the former Soviet-bloc republics.

UK think tank says US power is fading

If the US leaves Eastern Europe to its own defenses, who will help them if Russia becomes aggressive once again? Western Europe has little real military strength, and they too are concerned about the military/economic might of Russia, especially since much of their natural gas is delivered by Russia.

As the US lessens its influence around the world, other nations or coalitions will be forced to take up the slack. The result will be an increased likelihood of wars between now-peaceful nations and blocks of nations, especially in Eastern Europe as alliances are made to defend against Russian aggression (as in Georgia in 2008). Others will make treaties with Russia, preferring security to liberty.

Dismay in Europe as Obama ditches missile defence

Poles, Czechs: US missile defense shift a betrayal

Why is Obama weakening the US and it’s influence, which some say is intentional? Because Barack Obama is a liberal leftist, and believes that the US is inherently evil in it’s nature, and it must be weakened. Also, people like Obama value equality more than liberty, meaning that they don’t believe it’s fair for the US to be so wealthy, so powerful, and so influential while others are not.

When Jimmy Carter was advocating human rights and world peace, Iran fell under the Islamic Revolution, and decades of terrorism, loss of freedom, and millions have been affected. And that was merely by Carter’s bungling and missteps. He sought peace, but his policies produced tragic war and the bloodshed of millions of innocents.

What will happen to the world as a result of Obama’s intentional, purposeful weakening of the US and her long-standing alliances?

Fading US Power May Push Israel to War

Appeasement leads to war. Always has, always will. The stronger nation/power should not give ground to those who aggressively threaten it or it’s allies. When the stronger nation (or ‘authority’) gives way and neglects to use it’s strength to maintain peace, war between the lesser nations often break out soon after.

The United States as the lone super-power on the earth has a responsibility to the world and her US allies to prevent Iran from ever developing nuclear weapons. It’s that simple. If and when Iran obtains these WMDs, the balance of power in the Middle East — if not the world — will be dramatically tipped in Iran’s favor. The dreams of a radical Islamic paradise on Earth through the Apocalypse will be within reach.

President Bush had the opportunity to prevent this nightmare, but President Obama even more-so. There is no longer a quagmire in Iraq, but one is developing in Afghanistan through his negligence. President Obama is determined to transform the domestic fabric of the United States, and the War on Terror is nothing more than a nuisance. He does not want to be seen as a war president (like Bush), and therefore appeases the radicals in the hopes of ‘peace’.

Peace is a two-way street — it only works if both/all parties really, genuinely want peace. But the radical Islamicists do NOT want peace, unless they’re the sole entity granting it (ie, unconditional surrender); they want war. And once they have nuclear arms at their disposal, many nations will be forced to succumb to their plans. All because the United States refused to stop Iran when they had the chance.

The United States will not likely bear the immediate consequences of their dereliction, but Israel will, and they know it. Therefore, Israel will likely take matters into their own hands, because their tiny nation would probably not survive even a ‘minor’ nuclear attack.

We may have to attack Iran by Dec

Obama Is Pushing Israel Toward War

If Israel does indeed move against Iran, it could be the event that triggers the Russian-Islamic coalition against Israel spoken of in Ezekiel 38-39.

And that will be what starts the End-Times clock ticking…

Israel Angers US with New Settlements

Israel is moving ahead with plans to build hundreds of homes in the West Bank, even though they had previously agreed to build no new settlements.

This has upset the US State Department as well as the White House, and President Obama fears this could set back his upcoming peace-talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

Doesn’t Netanyahu know that only Obama’s promises can come with expiration dates?

US fury as Israel defies settlement freeze call

I think Israel knows that with Obama in the White House, they can no longer take US-support for granted. As he’s shown time and time again, Obama would rather ignore/anger our allies and reach out to our enemies.

Concerning the issue of settlements in the West Bank, what gives any nation the right to order Israel (or any other nation) no build or not build within its borders? Israel is a sovereign nation and captured that territory decades ago, and though it’s ‘in dispute’ is of no consequence.

Many people/politicians have been recently asserting that the Southwest portion of the United States won from Mexico still really belong to Mexico. Therefore, they’re ‘in dispute’, right? How would we react if Israel or Germany ordered us to not build any more homes/developments in Phoenix, San Diego, or Los Angeles? We’d tell them to kiss off!

Now how is what the US is saying to Israel any different?

Chavez and Iran

As if President Obama’s socialist leanings haven’t been clear enough, Hugo Chavez, the famed thug-socialist dictator of Venezuela is expressing his support for the flailing US President.

Venezuela’s Chavez says hopes can work with Obama

You can learn a lot from the company someone keeps, and if you have someone as bad as Chavez expressing their support for the President, then what does that say about the President?

Also this weekend, Chavez stopped over in Tehran to firm up his alliance with the mullahs against the West (mainly against the US). Now if both Ahmadinejad and Chavez vehemenently hate the US and the influence it exerts over other nations, yet Chavez wants to cozy up to Obama, what does that say about the US President?

Ahmadinejad and Chavez Vow to Strengthen Ties, Stand Together Against U.S.

And on a more specific Ezekiel 38-39 note, Ezekiel 39:6 states, “And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.” For several years now, I have thought that the “coastlands” spoke solely of the United States, but given Chavez’s new ties with Iran, Venezuela may need to be included in the list of nations that move against Israel and then punished.

Iran is Ready…

As if the declining US economy and push for health-care “reform” isn’t enough, the Times Online in the UK has announced that Iran is essentially ready to put all the pieces of their nuclear program together.

Iran is ready to build an N-bomb – it is just waiting for the Ayatollah’s order

“Iran has perfected the technology to create and detonate a nuclear warhead and is merely awaiting the word from its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to produce its first bomb, Western intelligence sources have told The Times.”

Once the order is given (which it will be sooner or later), the experts estimate that it’ll take Iran approximately another 6 months before the bomb is ready.

Most likely, the order has already been given — it just hasn’t been announced. Once Iran has the bomb, the entire balance of power in the Middle East will undergo a dramatic shift.

If the West doesn’t have the guts to stop Iran while it’s weak and non-nuclear, how will we react to them when they ARE nuclear?

Biden Differs With Obama On Iran

VP Joe Biden is the “gift that keeps on giving”. Every time Pres. Obama makes you want to cry, there’s Ole Joe to make you laugh and wonder why Obama picked him given his verbal clumsiness.

Seriously, Biden, who’s reknown for shooting off his mouth at the worst times, can be consistently counted on to provide comic relief during Carter’s Second Term.

Yesterday, Joe Biden declared that Israel has the right to deal with nuclear Iran: “We cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do when they make a determination, if they make a determination, that they’re existentially threatened,” Biden said.

Today, his boss (the Most Merciful President Obama) countermanded that statement: ‘Absolutely’ no green light for Israel to attack Iran. Obama frequently contradicts himself, such as saying that Israel does not have a “green light” from the US to attack Iran, and then flips a mere two sentences later and says “we can’t dictate the security interests of other nations.” So what exactly are you saying, Mr. President?

Asked by CNN whether Washington had given Israel a green light for such an attack, Obama answered: “Absolutely not.”

In the interview, which was broadcast from Russia, where Obama is on an official visit, he added: “We can’t dictate to other countries what their security interests are.”

“What is also true is, it is the policy of the United States to try to resolve the issue of Iran’s nuclear capabilities,” Obama said.

The final sentence exposes exactly what Obama will do concerning Iran and their quest for nuclear arms:   negotiations that amount to nothing. How can you negotiate with someone who doesn’t want anything you have to offer?

What gives any nation the right to dictate the national security policies of another, especially one of it’s long-standing allies? A nation can recommend or ‘entreat’, but demand and dictate? Israel does NOT need anything from the US, and especially no “green light” to move against Iran.

And now for a little comic relief from Ole Joe:  “Chuck, stand up, let the people see you. (then remembers that Chuck Graham is confined to a wheelchair) Oh God love you. What am I talking about?”

Turkey Losing Interest in the EU

After years of rejection by France and Germany and shifting entrance requirements, it should be no surprise that Turkey is losing interest in joining the European Union.

Turkey losing interest in EU

Turkey is to be one of the central “players” in the Magog Invasion into Israel, denoted as Gomer and Togarmah in the Ezekiel 38 passage.

Over the last few decades, Turkey has turned more and more away from the West and is looking towards the east to re-establish old alliances.

Iran vs Britain; Obama Responds

After Iran’s attempts in squelching the protesters of its recent “election” turned violent, President Obama has finally chosen a side (that of freedom) rather than remain neutral.

Obama Condemns Iran’s Iron Fist Against Protests

When you’re the leader of the free world — regardless of your personal feelings and beliefs — you cannot stay on the sidelines. The leaders of Iran are finding themselves in the middle of a revolution, but this time it’s against them — the very ones that instigated the Islamic Revolution in Iran 30 years ago. If Iran is the Islamic Paradise, then why are the people upset and trying to overthrow it?

I was too young to remember Jimmy Carter and the Iran-Hostage Crisis, but it appears that Obama (or at least his advisers) have learned something from history. When you’re in a leadership position, you have to actually LEAD. You have to take a stand and make history, rather than let history happen while you helplessly watch.

Meanwhile, Britain is being forced to take a stronger stand with Iran as well, since Iran expelled two diplomats after Britain expelled two of theirs.

Iran to ‘review’ UK relations as tensions mount

And now the question that everyone’s really asking: Where’s the French?!?!?

Obama: Send Israel More Kool-aid!

Since Obama’s meeting with Netanyahu, Obama’s polls in Israel have dropped, most likely over the settlements issue. Maybe Obama will send ACORN over there with a huge shipment of kool-aid to get them back in line.

6% see US administration as pro-Israel

“Only 6 percent of Jewish Israelis consider the views of American President Barack Obama’s administration pro-Israel, according to a new Jerusalem Post-sponsored Smith Research poll.”

“Israelis’ views of Obama’s predecessor in the White House, George W. Bush, are nearly the opposite. According to last month’s poll, 88% of Israelis considered his administration pro-Israel, 7% said Bush was neutral and just 2% labeled him pro-Palestinian.”

This wouldn’t be an issue if Israel had just annexed the whole West Bank and Gaza strip after they had won the territory in 1967. In Israel, you can’t keep kicking the ball down the road for someone else to deal with, because it keeps coming back. And it gets bigger over time.

Obviously, Obama is not seen to be the long-awaited Messiah in Israel as he is here in the US…

Iran “Re-elects” Ahmadinejad

As if there was ever any doubt, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has won the elections in Iran. What exactly do elections mean to a government that has an office called the “Supreme Leader”? Very little. In fact, the Supreme Leader’s office selects which candidates can run in the election. that’s what Iran calls a primary: one leader hand-picking names out of a box.

Iran’s Leader Tightens His Grip

“This will change the face of the Islamic Republic forever,” said one well-connected Iranian, who like most of those interviewed declined to be named in the current tense climate. “Ahmadinejad will claim an absolute mandate, meaning he has no need to compromise.”

In many ways, his victory is the latest and perhaps final clash in a battle for power and influence that has lasted decades between Mr. Khamenei and Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former president who, while loyal to the Islamic form of government, wanted a more pragmatic approach to the economy, international relations and social conditions at home.

Face it — Ahmadinejad has gotten all the attention that the mullahs in Iran want. With his constant anti-Israel and anti-American rhetoric, Iran has grown in strength and influence, though they have little real power. Under his leadership, Iran has shown the West to be a paper-tiger, unwilling to stop them in their quest for their own nuclear arsenal.

And unless Israel acts (assuming America and the West will not), it will become the most threatening nuclear power the world has yet to encounter. The Soviets were frightening, but they were not insane, nor were they run by a religion that glories in senseless mayhem and destruction.

If the civilized world is afraid of Iran before it has nuclear weapons, how much more when they actually have the most destructive technology in the world?
